The last 3 games @ Kinnick, UW, MSU, & OSU were ROCKING! & after having been to one of the most disappointing stadiums I have ever visited in my life last week in Evanston, we have a great fan base & excellent student support. Kinnick was LOUD this year!

It's awesome that we had extraordinary expectations this year & that we are all upset because the team has come nowhere near those expectations. That means that we as a fan base are no longer satisfied by being complacent, & if we continue to support the team & University in the manner in which we did the last 3 games, someday soon we will meet those expectations.

I went to Ryan Field last weekend and came away thinking "how the **** do they recuit kids to play here". I sat in the front row of the student section today by the tunnel & watched the recruits in awe of the support the crowd had for the hawkeyes. We have a lot of reasons to still think positive about the future of Iowa football.

Let's keep being great fans for our players & thank god wrestling season has begun ;)

How can you be disapointed by Northwestern's field? You had expectations that it was anything but a high school field? I say field instead of stadium because that's what it is...

Would agree that Ryan Field can be boring always has and always will, but we may win fan support but NU won the game and that is all that matters.

NO one was discounting NU's win last weekend. Simply put, Ryan Field is a disgrace for even a DIII Football program.

My point was, win or lose, compared to the atmosphere at Kinnick Stadium, if I was an 18 yo prospect, I would laugh at the contrasing game day environment alone.
