This thread just goes to show that some people (and I don't mean the OP) aren't happy unless they have something to b!tch about, or a bowl of Cheerios to p!$$ in.
It's been ages since Iowa has been remotely relevant this time of year, so excuse us for relishing in it a little bit. Don't like it? You don't have to read it. Or go start some threads about something that you want to see discussed.
I agree with the OP's premise though - just got to take care of business. But until Saturday's game rolls around, there's not much for us to do but speculate.
Here's speculation:
Based on our previous home/away turnarounds for points this year with teams we've played twice in the B1G, we beat NE by 4 here. Considering it's Sr day, another few points. If we hit a decent % of threes, then it could be a big score. But how often has that happened this year? I'm going with NE 58/ IA 66 but I'll just be happy with a win and hope Fran was right when he said MG would mostly likely be back for the tourney.
