Lost in the shuffle of our historic beatdown of OSU....

That was historic. Ohio State hasn’t been hammered like that since Florida. This was a total bloodbath and probably could’ve been worse(Recinos fg instead of going for it). Iowa completely broke Ohio State at that point and could’ve slammed another in the endzone.

I'd say it happened last year actually

shouldn't this entire map have a big red swatch with an N on it. Wait, is this for interceptions thrown in those states or wins? Sorry I thought this was for interceptions thrown. Nevermind, Nebraska owns little real estate.

So Iowa gained Wyoming, a swath of north Texas, and western Iowa early on. They lost all of that land to PSU. Then nothing really mattered for 4 games because they either did not have any land to lose, or the teams they beat (Ill and Minn) didn't have any to give up. But OSU won all of the land we had lost to PSU, and then we were able to regain it by beating OSU. Due to the nature of the beat down, they should have given us some land in Canada too, just because.

So we need to beat Wisc, and then we need Purdue to beat NW followed by our stomping the Boilermakers. Nebraska can do nothing for us, no one they can beat between now and us currently owns any land.

Yes, this is stupid, but I would be so irrationally angry if we ended the season with Nebraska owning the entire upper Midwest.

By the way, how do you go about conquering Alaska?

Fun little game to watch as it progresses throughout the season. How many electoral votes does that give us? :0

I thought the Big Ten East was supposed to be so much better than the Big Ten West... Looking at this map I see three Big Ten West teams and no Big Ten East teams... Hmm...

If we were to win out our regular season, and then either beat USC in a bowl game, or beat whoever beats USC in the Pac 12 championship game (Washington), it would give us the largest amount of territory possible. We would own nearly every inch of territory from the Northern Pacific Coast to the Great Lakes, with additional chunks of California, Texas, the deep south and Alaska.
