Also, Frost's buyout was $15 million. Where are you gettin $40 million?I’m not buying that, they just forked over $40 million to buyout Frost.

1 win in B12Who did we lose to that has only 1 win?

Dropped from $15 ,illion to $7.5 million October 1. Booster stepped forward and told TA to get it done. Either a big dick move for clout, or someone really wanted him out that morning. Probably both.I thought it dropped to $15 million if they fired him after October 1, 2022, but they couldn't wait that long so they have to pay the full buyout.
Lousy hire, if true. Rhule is nothing special.True. However, this is a short term stint. He will get them competitive before he gets out of dodge.
I almost think ISU recently has been more relevant then Nebby. I know money talks, but I'm not sure Campbell would jump at the opportunity to leave ISU for Nebby. Hard to coach at a shit program that's run the gauntlet with coaches lately. TBH I'd love to see Nebby's next coach use them as a resume builder and bail after year one rather than get fired in year 2 or 3. F$$K Nebby!!! They did it to themselves.I honestly think they should have gone after Campbell. I know he sucks this year, but that means they could have poached him at a more reasonable price/terms. He has proved that he can take a program that is dog shit and build it from the ground up. The fact that they are not great every year is a product of the head winds he faces coaching a shit program. Sort of like Fitzgerad at NW.
Nebraska needs a grinder if it is ever going to return to relevancy. Much like when KF came to Iowa, the Sand People will need to give the coach a couple years to build the foundation. Rhule aint that guy and you know they will back up the Brinks Truck to bring him in. Flash, not substance. The Nebraska way......
This. He's what you'd get if Mike Riley and Scott Frost had a baby.Lousy hire, if true. Rhule is nothing special.
Nebraska is currently the only B10 athletic department holding zero debt so be careful.Nebraska isn't ahead of anyone who counts in the money department anymore. They used to be, but not anymore.
When has debt mattered to Big Ten spending on salaries, especially with the huge conference and TV revenue packages? Covid was the worst hit ever to college athletics and everyone is a-ok already.Nebraska is currently the only B10 athletic department holding zero debt so be careful.
He must have the same agent and PR team as the Ferentz team.... LMAORhule is .522 lifetime in college ball, and he completely wrecked Carolina.
He's 19-18 in power 5 ball and never beat a ranked team.
Someone really needs to start selling the case as to why this dude would be an improvement over Riley or Frost.

KF s credentials were way less. Way less.He must have the same agent and PR team as the Ferentz team.... LMAO
Too small of a sample size. Temple is below JV compared to P5 football so they hardly count, and he had a single good year at Baylor. Never beat a ranked team. Almost a carbon copy of Scott Frost, and if you remember, everyone said Riley and Frost’s biggest strengths were that they were culture builders and look how that turned out. I don’t see any objective evidence that he can coach at the Big Ten level. It’s all just coach-speak.He was 19-18 at Temple and Baylor. Remember he had to clean up the Art Briles mess at Baylor. He is good at building culture, which Nebraska desperately needs. I realize "culture" is a buzzword in sports these days, but in this case I really do think it matters.
