Looks like Iowa isn't the only team trying to play themselves out of a higher seed

A ton of top 25 teams are playing really poorly right now. Honestly I think it's more of the norm than what we'd like to admit. Just look at the scores today:

#4 Syracuse loses by 19
#7 Louisville loses (as Predator said, this was a close game to a good team)
#9 Creighton loses to unranked opponent (team Iowa beat)
#10 St. Louis loses 2 straight
#11 Cinci loses...scores 45
#15 ISU loses...shoots under 35%
#17 Kentucky loses to a baaaad South Carolina team
#18 Michigan State loses to unranked team...scores 46
#24 Texas loses to unranked team

Lets face it, this is the state of college basketball this year. Not many teams have shown consistent mental toughness. No excuse for MSU to lose to Illinois and score 46.

That was by far the exception in that list. Cuse played terribly. Creighton as well. Michigan State, Cinci also bad losses.

Oh, and Iowa State just lost to KSU. Shot under 35% from the field...
