Yeah, I wouldn't expect that it would be a season long thing. But once someone gets in that position as a starter, it usually takes a lot to displace that guy.

Meh, I don't see a problem with the title. It's clear from the body of the post, as well as the article that it's not a life or death situation, it says he was treated and released at the ER. I don't see anything to get your panites in a bunch about....

What is the over/under on how many days until KF bans players from riding scooters and motorcycles?

I don't think he'll do that. A lot of these guys live off campus, and mopeds/motorcycles are far more handy to get to classes than cars.

I'm sure you're right, I was just joshing anyway. Plus, FB players riding scooters is a long standing tradition in IC. I don't know if the Harmon brothers started it, but I know they were early practitioners! :)

It certainly didn't sound serious (treated and released from ER), and at least for Week 1, it does settle who's starting at center. Obviously, if Koeppel were seriously injured, CAAR wouldn't have phrased it the way he did. As it is, it's not like he said "well, at least we know who's starting now". THAT would have been something I would take issue with. All he said was that "it IS settled". There's a mile of difference in between those two statements. One is simply stating fact (whether you may find it cold or not), and the other is making light of the subject.
