Looking more like the 2020 season is in doubt.

I dont understand your thinking about an Aug 1st start to prepare a football team since Iowa and almost all D1 major teams start pre season camp in August. Of course they would have time.

Spring Practice. Spring Games. Summer camps. Summer workout schedules. All held on campus. All cancelled. You can tell the guys to work out on their own, but there's just no way it would be the same as if they were in their weight room with S&C coaches available.

It's April 3rd. Talking about no football season or not students on campus come September is waaaaay premature. Let's see what happens over the next two months first.

What we see in May will be the decider (Bush phrase). The wheels have to be set in motion by then. If antibody testing shows a smaller % had this bug then no chance in hell we have a fall season. we done until a vaccine. And yes we can still have school in the fall with expanded testing and individual quarantines. But we will not be having large crowds. If the testing shows a fairly large % have the antibodies then probably game on. Only thing we do not well is how long will those antibodies last, will they be good through next winter? We shall see.

I think they can, but they have to have discipline. What is missed is the walk-throughs and study together. Which maybe they can still do film study in a group online by positions.
