Looking ahead

I think it's a given the Hawks beat MTS. Right now, Sagarin predictor has Iowa an 8 point dog to Michigan. 8 points is a lot for two ranked conference foes.

Michigan hasn't shown me all that much to prove that it can score enough points to win the game. Their defense will certainly hold Iowa below 25 points. I don't think Michigan will score more than 28 points, and if the Hawks can keep it within 3 there will be a chance to take it to OT in Ann Arbor, where it's anybody's game.

I think Iowa loses, but it's going to be a close one. Thoughts?

Michigan just hasn’t played good. Their offense feels like the same old Harbaugh hand offs, but this time done with fewer blockers. I don’t really know what to make of their defense. They have a lot of big losses to the draft last year. Couple that with being stuck on the field longer... and they just don’t look as good as last year. Michigan has really gave up complementary football and it looks like in 2019, they are opening the door to the middling teams of the B1G to beat them (a large group of teams Harbaugh has owned).

I’m not sold on Wisky either, but I think the Badger-Wolverine game this week could be a pretender gets outed kind of matchup.

As far as Iowa-Michigan, if Michigan plays Iowa the way they played Army, Iowa is getting a win in the Big House. Michigan got a bye last week and 3 weeks to set themselves straight. This will be a good week to see if they made any progress.

F' Michigan. They haven't shown much this year and IMO they aren't as good as they were the last time we beat them. I'm so tired of the Ann Arbor hype train. Harbaugh wants respect he needs to earn it. We've seen this year in and year out since he got to the Big Ten and has yet to have a title contender. Not sure why this season is any different.
