Longest Consecutive Home Games Attended Streak (where are you?)

1. I have no money.
2. I live in Chicagoland (weak excuse, its as close as Des Moines).
3. I'm in college, so I have no money.

I was at 39 until my streak was snapped at the beginning of this year. I had to miss the UNI game. That's my only miss though since the first game of the 2003 season.

wedding?

cuz ive missed a few...... weddings

really who in there right mind sets a wedding date on a fall saturday in iowa?

some people are just too rude!

I've made every home game since the 2003 season, so my streak is somewhere above 40.

I also crossed a few things off of my Hawkeye "bucket list" recently. Last year at the Michigan State game I completed my tour of seeing Iowa play at all ten opposing Big 10 stadiums. I also had a season (can't remember which one, but think it was 2005) where I went to every Hawkeye game, home and away, plus the bowl game.

I have been to 65 of the past 66 dating back to Oct. 9, 1999 in a 31-7 loss to Penn State. My only miss in this timeframe was in 2003 thanks to my brother's wedding. That was the 26-14 win over Penn State.

So my current streak is 38 and had 27 in a row prior to that.

I have been to 76 games in Kinnick altogether and Iowa is 53-23 in games I've attended.

It's hard to get much of a streak going due to kid's events but I think I'm only at about (13) with about (4) away games the past couple of years.

Unfortunately, my streak will end this Saturday when I have to go watch my son run in the state cross country meet in Ft. Dodge. I'm really proud of him, but I'm really bummed about missing a game (and so is he!). I have to count on all of you to scream for me!
