Sorry, but if she meant this in reference to "all the hunting I do w southerners in da south", she probably could have used some common sense and clarified that in her ORIGINAL tweet.

"sorry u guys only think of violence..." <-- LOL, someone makes a generic statement about Americans + Guns when we've just had a mass murder and you expect people NOT to make the connection? I find it more odd that there are people out there who are so hardened & conditioned to violence that they DON'T make the connection.

Lolo seems like a nice person, so I'm assuming this is just a case of really poor choice of words/not thinking things through - it happens to everyone at some point, but how about a "wow - really sorry, did not mean to offend...poor choice of words on my part" rather than trying to make it sound like it's the readers fault for jumping right to a conclusion of "violence". Derp.

I'm guessing this thread will quickly devolve into a 2nd Amendment pi$$ing match, so I'm going to drop out now before that starts because I think this is a lot more about common sense & sensitivity towards your fellow citizens.

Agree totally the PC Nazis need to relax. She also admitted she's a 29 yo virgin I'd say that's very unusual particularly since she's a track star. Seems to me like she might actually be a GOOD role model for young girls.
 
Americans have more guns than any citizenry in the world. People are way, way too reactionary to stuff like this. Bad timing? Probably.

What's the saying about assuming? pretty much fits the bill here you're an a**.

I guarantee the victims and their families couldn't care less what an Olympic hurdler tweeted, as I think they have a hell of a lot more important things that they are dealing with.
 
Well after watching us dominate the skeet shooting competition, Lolo has a point. Now stfu with the lolo hating.
