Locker......Best QB in this year's draft??????

This guy has looked awful. I realize it's against a great defense but come on. It's funny to hear the commintators saying everything they can to make it sound like even his terrible throws are good. Example, Locker just throw a deep ball 15 yds to the right of where his reciever was and the announcer says, "that wasn't a bad throw. by throwing that pass so high to an area where there were no defenders, he gave his receiver a chance to go get under it." I mean come on man. That throw was horrible. Then a couple of plays later Locker throws his second INT. Now the announcers can't help but to say that he's having a bad game. lol. AND OH WAIT. LOCKER JUST THROWS HIS 3RD INT but he gets lucky with a defensive holding call.

Stanzi can have a bad game but he finds a way to keep his head on straight and wins games. I can't wait for tonight. I think Stanzi goes 18-27 240 yds. 3 tds. and the Hawks roll 38-21.

Stanzi is going to be talked about a lot after tonight's game. WAR the Hawks jumping Oklahoma, Texas, & Florida in the polls after their convincing victory tonight.

Locker's getting hung out to dry by Sark...again. Look at what NE came out in defensively, and played pretty much all game - 6 guys "in the box." So what does Sark call? Passes. If you can't run against 6 guys in the box, then your OL sucks and is soft, which UW's has been about the last 10-15 yrs, and Sark needs to change. UW also very seldom uses the TE in the passing game in the middle of the field, and I think this really hurts UW. Think how much the IA TE occupies LB's in the middle or flats. For whatever reason, it seems UW has no interest in using a TE in their passing game, and you're seeing the results of that. Sark is also recruiting like Weis did at ND - lots of fairly highly ranked skill players, but not the OL they need to allow their skill players to be successful. Locker definitely wasn't good today, and hasn't been this year for 2 of the first 3 games, but he's not getting any help, either.

Also, have you seen NE's QB throwing the ball? Why Nick Holt, UW's DC, hasn't forced NE to throw it all game is beyond me. It seems obvious there are simple schematic things UW could have done to make this game competitive, and they didn't include them in their gameplan.

UW is a perfect example of what many NFL teams do, and what Weis did at ND - not build his team from the inside out, and not get enough quality OL and fast, athletic defenders.

I've wondered why he's getting all the love as well. Granted he has the size, and a big arm, but then again so did Jamarcus Russell. I don't know Washington well, but I'm guessing he doesn't have a great cast around him. Leadership must be pretty good as well, and I've heard he's a hard worker.

I was listening to some podcasts, and people like Todd McShay were all over Locker as the 'best pro QB prospect' and all.

Yeah, he really showed it today, didn't he? One more name to cross off the Heisman watch list.

He gets some of the publicity because of his speed, he runs at least a 4.4 and I wouldn't doubt if he was faster than that. He looked horrible today but I watched him a lot last year and he reminded me of Steve Young.

You stole my thunder with this......The trend in the NFL right now is to play guys right away......Mallet and Luck seem like the are ready to step in and play right away. Granted Locker doesn't have a whole lot of help, he still a bit of a project.

Right now I would say he would need to be drafted in the latter half of the first round to a team that doesn't need him to play right away.
