Lmar Odom is mentally weak.

You are the one who is getting uppity, good sir! Lamar Odom got traded from a team that got swept in the second round to the defending champs. Most players would find it within themselves to play hard most nights, it's called being a professional. Lamar Odom, instead, decided to just quit. I think that's about the definition of being mentally weak, you don't like the situation, just give up.

the guy also suffers from depression and has had big triggers on that depression this yr. unless people have been through it or know someone (closely) that has they dont realize the effects it has on your day to day activities like doing your job at its highest level.

he also didnt have a clearly defined role to really determine how to fit in with the team as he is basically a poor man's dirk. so his minutes went way down and some need time on the court to get their flow of the game. he was given that along with his mental state he was really afforded an opportunity to succeed.

i can also see why he asked to be traded. he went through tough things then was shopped around (basically told we dont want you anymore) so why not ask to go somewhere else where you might have a better situation.

Give me a break folks. He's been doing well enough to broadcast his entire life on some "reality" television show. Maybe he should spend a little more time on the court than in front of the camera to secure his future in the NBA.

When did you diagnose Mr. Odom with depression? How many sessions have you two had together? Or is all this based on what the ugly Kardashian sister has been saying?

what ive seen and heard makes it so it wouldnt surprise me if that is what he is going through considering i have dealt with it along with people close to me. also props on being disrespectful to his wife while you are at it.
 
I don't even know who you guys are talking about, but as a father who has lost a child, I will say until you have buried one of yours, you need to STFU and give the guy a break. You never fully recover from such a thing. It goes against the laws of nature, that you were taught. You are not supposed to hear ashes to ashes when it is your child!!!!!!!!

How was I disrespectful? I simply said the ugly Kardashian sister, apparently you think that's his wife. I could have been referring to Kendall or Kim. But keep up the white knight act, maybe one day Khloe will read this board, see you defending her and fall in love with you.
 
you are right ripping on someone's looks and what you think of them is not disrespectful at all. i dont care for the kardashian stuff but i dont talk about how someone looks because my wife has dealt with eating disorders because of how people talked about her and so when people talk like that or write like that it hits a never with me. hopefully you can read into my sarcasm in the first sentence. hopefully nothing bad ever happens to you in your life that floors you and makes it hard to do your job at 100% because then people might rip you.
