He was great.... obviously foreign but did his homework on Iowa and did his best to give tidbits about the team. The only thing he knew about Ellingson was that he was 21 for example... "The 21 year old Brady Ellingson" was said over and over and over... and then he'd follow it up with "He's 21" hahaha

If Cook/Pemsl/Garza/Kriener/Nunge aren't playing tough D, and an opponent like lets say a Haap is killing them, Fran can sit them on the bench. Who says Wagner and Uhl won't start? They do have seniority and experience. The defensive point is well taken because it won't be their offense that gets them minutes. Wagner does get rebounds on both boards. Uhl......... ummm....... maybe he will surprise us this year and go off on an unpredicted Offensive explosion. :eek: < the look on my face if it happens.

I've actually been in the camp that Wagner will start most of the summer and I was also in the Uhl will play significant minutes camp too. Then I watched the 2 freshman play yesterday and it's gonna be hard to keep them off the court.
