The Hawkeye Nation.com Radio Show will air live from Jethro's Bacon Bacon located on 22nd Street in WDM on Monday nights from 7-8 PM on WHO 1040 AM. The first show is Monday 8/29.

The show will include segments with Hawkeye Nation.com's Rob Howe, U of IA Assistant Football Coaches, and Jon Miller, the Founder of Hawkeye Nation.com.

Joe Chmelka, President of the Polk County and former Hawkeye tight end Matt Whitaker will co-host the show. Mitch Smith will coordinate Hawkeye trivia contests and prize giveaways during the show at Jethros. All Hawkeye Fans are invited to attend.

Ickehawk? - Him for controversy for jock shock status.
JoshBrown - Now he would just ramble on excited and endlessly with slurred speech. He would just beg to do polls.
Stillbuster - Not sure how serious you could take him. See Tweeterhawk, AreWheThereYet

My serious vote would be for PCHawk. He brings a sensible objective logic and has the ability to bring solid points to the surface. He brings up points that are not obvious but when he states it you're like "Duh, that's so true". Uncanny

I would also vote to have OK4Prez on but he is nowhere to be found these days. I think he's chasing his first boy now. He has logic and the ability to make points in a comical and sarcastic way. He brings the total package as can make great points in a comical way while getting under the skin of listeners. Great for jock shock.

I appreciate the kind words but if ickehawk happens in here be ready for a shit storm coming your way.
 
you know the drill

caller can't hear them, they can't hear the caller, caller has his radio on, finally gets on the air and sez "Hi Coach, how ya doin?" Coach says "Fine" (silence). Host says, do you have a question for the coach? and then asks the Chris Farley Question "Hey you remember in that game against Penn State and we cam back and we drove down and scored a field goal at the end to win?" Coach says' "Yes!". Caller says "ya it was pretty awesome." (silence) Then to wrap up, host says, what else? Caller: "hey coach why'd you run that play on 3rd and 4 down on the 18 yard line" same question we heard for 3 hours on Sound Off.
 
Doc posts some good stuff and mostly stays out of the middle school arguments that some posters keep getting into.
 
I was told the podcast would be on iHeart. WHO owns the rights so our hands are tied on this one. I will look into it again.
 
Hands down... you should find the only poster in HN history who picked the Hawks to go undefeated in the regular season last year.... I want to hear from him!! HawkNick? Was that it?
