Lindenwood Open

The Lindenwood Open (St. Charles, MO) is the opening competition on Iowa's schedule this year. Normally only varsity team events are listed on the schedule so I'm wondering if Iowa will attend this tournament as a team event?

Also, Iowa's name is being used to draw spectators and the FB post for their wrestling team states other D1 schools will be in attendance. Anyone have any insight as to who will attend (both individual and school)?

I thought this was going to be a thread about a prestigious golf tournament to see who will win control of a historically stuffy country club called Lindenwood.

I would say this tournament will just replace the old Kaufman-Brand tournament the Hawks always opened the season with.

I would not expect any varsity starters to be there but then again there are going to be some battles for a few weights and this would be a good place to settle at least the first round.
