Lickliter takes full blame during press conference; Said he takes the blame for the loss and that the team wasn't prepared.

You can tell he's not happy with the effort from the guys, that was the most "down" I've seen Lickliter after a game.

I've never understood this point. I've heard Lick blame the players constantly this year. It's not so much blaming, as it is assessing where the problems lie and what needs to be improved on.

I've never understood why people get so upset about coaches speaking the truth about their players. Are Iowa fans just more content with hearing the same ol' postgame? Why not just tape the cliche answers and play the tape after each game? That way we don't have to worry about possibly damaging these poor athletes egos.
 
How about these:

Lickliter said "We obviously have to do things that are un-skilled related in order to win."

Lickliter said "We want to feed the post, but Brennan is the only one that can do that with any accuracy."
