Saw a stat today that indicated after this year, Lick will have made the NCAA tournament 2 times in 9 years as head coach.

How does that compare to Steve Alford?

I know Alford has at least 4 NCAA appearances.. 3 at Iowa, 1 at SWMS. How many years overall though? Something like 14-15 now? Alford isn't exactly tearing it up with NCAA appearances either. Looks like he may get his 5th this year, though.

Alford managed to snif it a few times at Iowa at least...something Lick has not done. Alford was a .500 big 10 coach, Lick is what 14-38 now? Alford at least gave us hope in the BT tourney and won 25 games at Iowa in a season with an undefeated home court. Lick will be lucky to win 25 games in 3 seasons, lol.

Either way, unlike you, Alford is probably not worrying about his Iowa legacy anymore...he is sitting at 22-3 now and cruising along while Iowa will finish with its program worst record ever and lose 20 games for the first time ever.

Based on wins and losses alone, Lickliter cannot even hold Alfords jock.

I agree, however, as medicore as SA and his record were....light years ahead of Lickliter. Pathetic, I know.
