I think 12,000 views is more than any home attendance. I've been a Lick supporter almost the entire time but... we need a new coach.

Yeah really. If they're gonna hire someone like Martin, they might as well give the job to Kenyon Murray or Jess Settles. At least they're Iowa guys. I would like them to stay away from Indiana this time.

No, but with the incoming recruiting class I would be shocked if Lick isn't given at least one more year to see what he can do with them.

Also....the timing of this "rumor" is all wrong.

I would normally agree with your analysis of giving Lick another year. However, if some players made it known to Barta that they intended to transfer, that analysis goes right out the window.

Actually, I know your deal. You love to debate. Unfortunately, you don't have a huge sports intellect. So you vociferously argue stuff that normally can't be proven. Any chance to offer your opinion as obvious fact.

That seals it for me. He's gonzo. I heard the rumors and I'm really not one to hear rumors in regard to any program. I wonder if Barta has somebody in mind? I hope so since he's making the move.

I am not telling you what to talk about, I am trying to help you improve you lives. No one appriciates my altruism, but that's ok. Sometimes giving people are harmed by the very people they try to help.

BTW, the phrase "Sports intellect" is an oxymoron.
 
I'm excited that he'll be gone (if true) but let's remember. Last time we lost a coach we got Todd Lickliter.
