Letter from Mom

A story you might appreciate.

Out of the blue today, I got a letter--you remember, that snail-mail stuff? It was from my 78-year-old mother. I opened it up and it was a photocopy of the AP story about the NCAA sanctions on USC. Pete Carroll's name was circled, and next to that she wrote, simply: "I knew he was a rat!!"

LOL! Kinda reminds me of how my little grandmother who would never hurt a fly trash talks Steve Alford all the time like a truck driver.

My brother-in-law and I used to make fun of Steve Alford when he was our coach and my grandma always told us to keep quiet, he's our coach and we should respect him. God bless Grandmas.

My gram is a PSU fan and she told me that I shouldn't be happy when the Hawks beat them. She said that Iowa should let PSU win every once in a while... that gave me a good laugh.
