Let’s say WI, Purdue lose

They'd both be 4-3 going into next week when they play each other so one would be guaranteed a fourth loss. If we win out we'd need NW to lose one more and the winner of Purdue/Wisconsin to lose one more.

NW is not losing to Minn or Illannoy, so it doesn't really matter. That's their remaining schedule after our game today.

Two things:

1) Win out.

2) Some help from this guy:

and Iowa wins. What else needs to happen to win the West for Iowa?

Here is the most realistic possibility. Keeping in mind it’s very unrealistic.

This week:
Wisconsin loses to PSU
Iowa beats NW
Purdue loses @Minnesota

Next week:
Iowa wins @ Illinois
NW loses @ Minnesota
Wisconsin loses @ Purdue

Thanksgiving week
Iowa beats Nebraska
Purdue loses @ Indiana

Northwestern 6-3 (assuming they beat Illinois at home)
Iowa 6-3
Wisconsin 5-4 (assuming they beat Minnesota at home)
Purdue 5-4

Iowa wins the tiebreaker over NW. I supposed there is a possible 3 or 4 team tie that Iowa could win but with their division record it would more falling in place than what I just posted

Basically Iowa’s only hope is of course to win out which isn’t likely given the way they’ve been playing and Minnesota somehow winning 2 difficult games

Let's just accept it. Iowa is playing for the Holiday bowl from now on. Iowa wins out and the Hawkeyes are going to San Diego.

Hey, it's only 2 hours from Pasendena!

And they’re playing to end the season ranked in the top 25. Which is bigger than any low level bowl they make it to

Well, if Iowa does not blow it today after taking now a 10-7 lead, Purdue is getting trashed by Goofy. If Goofy can continue to play like this and Purdue can rebound and take out Wisco…. and Iowa wins out...…..
