I know....sounds radical but it was pretty evident they were going to score yet again after the fake punt, at least when they go to our 30 yard line.

Why not let them score and we get the ball back with 3 minutes left, not 1 minute?

It was ping pong today....neither side stopping the other.
 


Sometimes I think the same thing.

But you're then putting more pressure on the offense and hoping that they wouldn't screw up.

But with 3 minutes and 3 timeouts, there's not the same level of pressure as there is when there's only 1 minute left. I don't know if I would have let them score, but I can see the positives of doing so.
 


It's too radical for our staff to consider, but man, Wisky was running and passing at will and c'mon....most people knew we weren't going to keep them out of the endzone at the end.

I was telling my wife the very same thing. If we let them score earlier, we would have had more time to drive for the FG.
