Man, I feel for the guy standing on the sideline during the first quarter. The slow-mo replay just made me downright queezy........so did the final 2 minutes of the game, but more so the leg. They aren't supposed to bend that way.
He's a retired member of the Iowa City Area Officials Association. He fractured his leg in two places one near the knee and one near the ankle. He had immediate surgury for the break near the knee as peices of the bone were pressing into the knee cap, and he has surgery scheduled today to put plates and screws in to stabalize everything. He will be in the Hospital until at least Thanksgiving.
