Legends Division next year

Michigan - Going to have a new coach and likely move away from the spread... really good decision in the long term but not good for short term gain.

Michigan State - I thought they were hugely overrated this year, and I don't believe in that program being consistently good. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. But I believe they will be 7-5 next year.

Minnesota - Not gonna happen.

Which leaves us Iowa, N'Western and Nebby.

I honestly believe that N'Western with Persa back could contend.

Nebraska has to play Wisconsin, Penn State and Ohio State in their out of division.

Iowa - did we simply have a ******* was full season and all of the optimism that we would have had if we had gone 9-3 and beat Alabama today for another 10 win season ought to still be there?

If Iowa beats NW, I honestly believe that the game in Lincoln is for the trip to Indy.

might be a stupid question but is the winner of the division decided by best division record or conference record?

If Michigan gets Harbaugh they still face a drop off but only for a season. Any other coach they at least face another two year drought.

MSU was overrated and we finally saw it today. They aren't who anybody thought they were and won't get to that level next year.

We should have never lost to Minny this year. New coach will again keep them behind the 8 ball for at least next season if not more.

Northwestern will be Northwestern, the same they have been the last few years under Pat. We have to understand that like ISU from 98 to 02, they put extra emphasis on the game and if we want to beat them, we have to consistently match their intensity.

Nebby is a question mark. Too many rumors floating around regarding stuff like TMart leaving. Also their D is built to defend the pass happy teams of the Big 12. They can't stop the run. If they don't fix that they will get run over in the Big 10 next year.

I agree.

Whenever a team goes through a coaching change they don't magically get better in just 1 off season. I think eventually they will be good again. Depending on who the hire is I say they'll be contending in 3 years for the B10 championship.

MSU like you said was not as good as their record showed. They will be losing of their best players on defense and a lot on the Oline. So even thought Kirk Cousins will be back they will likely not do very will with all the departures.

Also don't forget Indiana. They return some really good receivers (unless they decide to leave for the draft which I doubt) but they lose their QB Chappell who is very good, so they'll be breaking in a new QB. So no problem with Indiana IMO.

Like you said, if Iowa wins against NW it's very possible Nebraska and Iowa play for the division title at the end of the year.

Nebraska will have to be much better then this year if they're gonna beat all those teams they have to play next year. They were good this year, but next year they'll see a week in and week out schedule that they've never seen.
