Last Year's Minnesota is This Year's Iowa

Last year Minnesota went 13-1 in the non-conference, 6-12 in the conference, and 1-1 in the BTT for a 19-14 overall record and a berth in the NIT. They ultimately finished runnerup in the NIT.

This year they are rated in the Top 10 in the country.

Iowa will play in the NIT this year and make a deep run.

Next year will be much better, with Uthoff and Jok joining a very experienced team.

Don't think it is quite fitting. They lost their best player early in the year and this allowed all the other players to get better, while he healed. Now that he is back they have an extremely talented set of post players along with some great shooting guards.

Next year we will have decent post play, but I don't think we will have the shooting or athletism that Minnesota has this year.
