Last Minute Take on Minny v Iowa?

I see the tables turned from game-1:

Minny settling into groove with lineup changes and athleticism + inside length / height will hit the Hawks where they've been hurting.

Like Minny in game-1, Hawks coming off a few losses and are in a funk. Unlike Minny, they haven't been competitive on defense and the glass.

Iowa has to get up 8 to 10 and keep the defense changing up to keep Minny off balance -- hopefully keep the 4th best shooting team in B1G, cold. It will take another great game by McCabe and White and just some competence from Basabe and Cartwright to get the W.

I'm not seeing much evidence that Hawks will toughen up and see it ...
Minny 77 - Hawks 69.

I agree I dont see Iowa winning this game tonight.

Like I said -- tables turned.

Iowa gets a 12-point lead (Minny had 11-point lead last game) and Minny goes on a run to close the 1st half (as Iowa did last game).

Difference = Iowa is starting to revert to recent poor defense and weak rebounding. They are becoming gun shy in their attack after a couple blocked shots. Minny -- a very good shooting team -- has all the mo as they heat up.

Game will be decided in first 4 minutes of 2nd. If Minny hits a couple more right out of the gate, and gets up 7 or 8, Hawks will fold.

Very typical of a mentally weak team that is losing confidence with each outing since the (f^@&!^g) 9-day layoff.

You didn't say anything about Iowa blowing a 12 point lead in the first half.
