No game tape..was at the game and wondering.

There was 7 seconds left when Robinson takes snap, rolls left, pressured and then throws...I look up to see 2 seconds left.

Seemed like an eternity for the play, as I was expecting to see 00 on the clock?

Home team is supposed to get the benefit in that situation, but we didn't. If anybody has it DVR'd...watch it again (or maybe if the ESPN highlight is on Youtube or something).

The clock starts extremely late after the play begins, and then for some reason, the tick from :03 to :02 takes FOREVER (it might have been a different tick, but it's definitely somewhere in the middle of the play). I was more concerned that I thought that guy should have caught that pass...I think our DB's leg may have gotten in the way but I think it was a makeable catch.

Thanks for that, as something is going on with Kinnick clock this year -- either the equipment, or the person who is supposed to be flipping the switch.

Other fans I have spoken with have remarked on clock issues at other home games this year.

I watched it and used a stop watch to time the play three times. The longest I timed the play at was 5.32 seconds; the other two times were 5.02 and 5.11 seconds.

The Kinnick scoreboard has had multiple screw-ups this year, but the official game clock is not kept upstairs, it is kept on the field by the alternate official (guy that wears the red hat and stands on the field during TV timeouts).

It is designed that way to be completely unbiased, and this coming from someone who also thought that play took an eternity while sitting the stands at Kinnick.

I thought the play was relatively fast. Nielsen's blitz up the middle forced Denard to move and throw in a hurry.
