Lansing writer ranks B1G stadiums...Kinnick #1

If Brian has 6 houses. The first house has 1 deck, the 2nd has 2 decks, the 3rd has 2 dicks, the 4th has 4 decks, the 5th has 6 decks, and the 6th has 6 decks; which house is the median and how many decks does it have?

What are you a HS math teacher?

What is this, fifth grade? Why have we moved from football to elementary math problems? Also, why the F does his third house have two dicks?

6 houses divided by 2 = 3, 21 decks divided by 6 houses = 3.66 decks.

If by median you mean average then the closest answer is 4 houses with 4 decks.

I agree I would like to see the south endzone to be built as a mirror image of the north endzone. It would be insanely loud and with the crowd so close to the field, it would seem more claustraphobic to the opposing teams. Talk about a home field advantage!

I
WRONG. Re-read the question. There are 19 decks and 2 dicks.

I assumed that to be a typographical error. But if you are serious, the answer would be; Since the question was which “House” is the median and how many decks does it have. Since house #3 has no decks the answer is House #3 and the number of decks is zero.

I just did some "research" with google maps' measuring tool (which is damn accurate when measuring the 300' football field), and below is the distance from the first row to the visitor bench in each of the major B1G stadiums and Iowa's as well

Nebraska -- 40'
Penn State -- 32'
Michigan -- 23'
Michigan State -- 24'
Wisconsin -- 51'
Ohio State -- 25'

Iowa -- 8'

I took this picture in 2015 from row 2 with no zoom; you will NEVER get that close at any other major stadium in the B1G. Not even close.

Just because you’re 142 years old and can’t climb anything over a 2° incline doesn’t mean we should leave the south end zone the way it is. The sooner they match it to the north (which they will) the better.
Where is the jumbo-tron going to be if they do the south end zone like the north one?

Penn State has WAY taller double deck ends than Kinnick’s north end, and they have a bigger Jumbotron on top of it than ours.

The video board would still go on top of the south end.

I'll never understand the allure of box seats. I've watched games from the press box of Kinnick and its not the same as being in the stands. Not the same experience.
