Lady Hawkeyes 102 Wildcats 99...FINAL

The ladies' team is everything the men are not but wish were. Love watching this team. BTW, the ladies would destroy the men in a 3-point shooting contest. Wouldn't be close. But maybe the men would win in practice!

PuhLeeeze..........Stop with the Inane comparisons to the Hawkeye Men's team.
Good grief. Lisa Bluder only wishes she had the depth of the Men's team.

The Iowa Women are currently ranked as being a #3 Seed in the NCAA tournament.

And......that was prior to their nice Road win at Northwestern. Northwestern has one of the best
Players in the country, in Nia Coffey. She's unreal women's player.

Can't understand why these women are automatic from 3, and the men's team..............I just cringe whenever they pull up for a 3.

I'll take W's over depth, thanks. In fact, give me a great starting 5 and a mediocre bench over 12 average/mediocre players.

Depth doesn't mean a whole lot unless it's quality depth. See the 1986-87 Iowa team.

Seriously on the 3's. They make it look so easy. And the men make it look so, so difficult.

Actually Lisa Bluder has more depth than she uses. It's a matter of strategy. Kali Peschel, Claire Till, Chase Coley are all
good back up front court players. Alexa Kastanek and Christina Buttenham are good wing/backcourt players. What the Men have that the Women don't is post depth.

It's too bad that Nicole Smith has been slowed by her knee injuries. I thought she could do a great job in the post too.
