The team is slow afoot...and this is a characteristic that will exist whether the players are young or older...

Iowa has seldom had a player that has the athletic ability to get their own shot or break down the other team's defense...this is a characteristic that will exist whether players are young or older and more experienced...

It is a gathering of average to a bit above average talent at this point...without a talented PG or perhaps any PG

Point is...it isn't much different than the football team...

When Iowa gets the transition going they play much better. If the shots aren’t falling in the half court then its going to be a long day. Even with the experienced teams in the past had the same problem.
