St. Louis Cardinals' Tony La Russa says Milwaukee Brewers fans' heckling went too far - ESPN

I saw the two plays. Looked like the pitch to Pujols got a little high and tight by accident, but the 2 at Braun were intentional. I don't know how you could say 2 pitches got away in a row like that what a joke.

Then to call out the people because Braun only got a stinger but the pitch at Pujols was horrible. And on top of that cry cause fans said this and that.

Suck it up. You're a major league manager, quit crying.

I don't care if it was intentional on Braun, but don't complain about it like it wasn't and complain cause it was high and tight on Pujols. Grow up.

Rant over.

He never said they got away. He said they threw in close and if he ducked them, so be it. Never said the pitches weren't thrown in there unintentionally. Pujols had 2 pitches thrown up near his face in the last 2 days.

Braun got what was coming. Those were intentionally thrown inside to Braun (like LaRussa stated) just like those were intentionally thrown inside to Pujols.

He isn't crying. You think think he can go to the media and say "yeah, we threw at their guy cuz they threw at us"? No, that would be stupid. The fans are idiots for not thinking that was coming to Braun. Of course it was. And it very well should have.

That's all BS cause he did say "it wasn't intentional at braun" on espn this morning. and he did say they got a way. Like I said I don't care if he threw at Braun but quit whining about Pujols getting thrown at. If Pujols ducks it then it's a non issue right. Doubtful. Also the pitch on Pujols was less than intentional at his head. Not in that situation, and you can see the pitch tail high, not intentional.

And of course Brewers fans aren't going to be happy, but suck it up, their brewers fans, what did you expect.

He said that they were intentionally thrown inside. If he ducked them, so be it. They were going to be over and done with it. He couldnt flat out say "yes we threw at him", but he said they threw inside on purpose.

I honestly don't think it was baseball he was mad about. That reporter would NOT shut his mouth. I would have acted the same way. After awhile it becomes more about proving your point to a moron, no matter how wrong you might be. Reporters like that shouldn't be allowed in locker rooms or be banned.

Exactly. Of course it was intentional, but that idiot is asking if those pitches were intentional over and over....OF COURSE they were, but you don't throw up and in at his best guy and not get something in return.

I live in St. Louis and don't care for LaRussa nor am I a fan of Pujols. However, did you watch the games the past 2 nights? The Brewers have thrown up and in to Albert (I am talking up and in near his face) the past 2 days. I don't care who the player is or the team. You don't throw near the head.

Braun took one in the back and intentional or not it should have been done and finally a Cardinal player had the nads to do it.

A fan yelling at LaRussa he hopes he gets shingles again is par for the course in Milwaukee. I travel there on business often. I've never seen so many redneck hicks that far north. You sound like one of them.

So get over yourself.

Tony LaRussa is a little *****. He was complaining about the Brewers messing with the scoreboard to distract Cardinals hitters. There's always something for him to complain about.

One of the best managers ever. I don't think you manage as long as he has by being a *****.

He is one of the most intense managers ever. Yeah, he likes to nitpick things sometimes, but he doesn't take **** from anyone. I don't think that constitutes being a *****. But I suppose you are entitled to your opinion. You did pick Lebron to have a ring this year. :D

Please explain why he's one of the best managers ever. Is it because he has the 3rd most wins in baseball as a manager?

Please know the whole story. He also has the 4th most losses all time as a manager. He has a law degree and is very book smart. Because of this, his common sense smarts is lacking in decisions he makes. In other words he over thinks many situations.

I don't think personality traits eliminate someone from being successful. Bill Belichick is a huge *******, still a great coach. Tony LaRussa is a *****, but still a good manager.

unfortunately Milwaukee fans are becoming too similar to cub fans, drunk a holes for the most part. It's disappointing because when they stunk they had a good core group of fans, now it's drunk frat boys or redneck idiots.

Please know the whole story? He has the 2nd most games managed in history. First manager to win more than one pennant in both leagues.

You know who has the most losses all time? Connie Mack, who also has the most games managed in history! Coincidence? Nope.

He may over think some situations, but he is top 5-7 managers ever.

And I'm off the Heat/LeBron bandwagon now and on the Bestikas bandwagon now. TBL title or bust!
