I think that's being a little extreme. They've got their big four locked up for at least two more years. They need to improve their bench, they need to significantly upgrade their pg spot. They need to get faster on the perimeter, Blake, Fisher, Artest are all slow defenders.
Or they can just trade for CP3 and sign Dwight Howard next summer and try to get Kobe one last ring.

Bynum needs to have some serious consequences for next year for what he did. Not only did he put is elbow in Berea, but to then take his shirt off as he was being escorted just screams thug. Wish his *** would be kicked out of the league for a year. That was a disgusting show of sportsmanship. If your going to be all up in the cameras and talking smack while winning, then you need to be humble and professional while your losing.

This years playoffs are a good example why the NBA is unwatchable.
Its a thug league, any way you look at it. Take a look at the number of ejections in the playoffs vs the regular season. The % has be to WAAAYYY up.
People will say "the are trying harder because its the playoffs"

The % is higher because when things dont go their way, thugs do what thugs do.
If they tried to win every regular season game, they'd be ejected half the time. So what? They are stealing paychecks all season long, just to ramp up their game for the playoffs, only to get ejected for thug behavior?
Its pathetic and unwatchable.
By the way, the term THUG isnt a racist term. Bill Lambier was one of the worst THUGS of all time. I'm sure there are more, but I cant think of them off the top of my head.

What if that Berea guy would have fallen just slightly different and become paralyzed? The league needs to crack down on the Thuggery that is taking place. He needs to be made an example of. If they start coming down hard on these guys, then this stuff will stop. Enough is enough, and this goes for all professional leagues.

The reason people are over reacting to Bynum's foul is because JJ was in a defenseless position. The intent of the foul was to do some serious damage to JJ not to make a point. The ponit was already made after Odom got ejected.
He could have really gotten hurt. What if he did get hurt? The Mavs lose there back up point guard. Their starter is 38 years old. What is the chances they make it to the finals.
So they need to come down hard on Bynum. I was thinking 20 games.

What if he would have died? Bynum should be banned for life.
Please, it was a dirty play but people should not be outraged over it, he'll get three games.
He will get more than 3 games and he should get more somewhere between 5-10 is more likely.

Show me one example where someone has been suspended for more than five games for a flagrant foul? This wasn't a fight, he didn't throw a punch, didn't go in the crowd. He'll get three games.
