People can complain about the refs all you want, but the ultimate gift by the refs in this game was giving Olson 3 FTs at the end on a shot where she was off balance, was not touched by the defender, and was given plenty of room to land after the shot. The questionable calls went both ways.

If you watch the replay the defender did not give her room because she hit Lucy's foot. That's exactly why it was called.
Had a double digit lead 12 pts I believe in the 3rd q. Refs didn't blow all that themselves. But they sure didn't help at the end.
I think the refs had 3 bad calls that went against Iowa the last 2 possessions. In close games that's just tough to swallow no matter how ya slice it.
Acknowledging the refs played an outcome in a game where the refs played an outcome is just stating all the facts. Why ignore an important part of info when you're a fan? I get coaches and players not focusing on it. But I don't get the idea that fans shouldn't bitch about a blown call in a close game.
