The recruits Iowa are pursuing for the upcoming years have a lot of major programs also attempting to sign them. That can be a mixed blessing. It shows that the coaching staff now feel they have a chance with these higher ranked high school players, but battling the big boys may make it tougher to land any of them. Having Garza receive all the accolades that he did, may help in this cause, as it focused a lot of attention on Iowa.
