I thought it needed said that he filled in great for Smith and really concentrated to look in those passes after maybe taking his eyes off a few recently for a few drops. He had two big catches which also helps so that teams cant double ISM. Keep on going TT.

I was impressed with his ability to separate on man to man . The other receivers struggle with winning the hand to hand wars

He’s been pretty good in that regard all year, his hands have just been unreliable. At this point (at least before this week) I wouldn’t have him on the field on third down because of how frequently he drops the ball.

If I’m the QB I’m throwing to the guy who can get open . The other guys really struggle getting open

You have a point, and Tracy has the potential to be the number one guy in coming years, but he’s proven to have very unreliable hands when we need a conversion. Luckily, he’s still young, and will get better. Look at Brandon Smith this year compared to last.

Skill players need to be:

3 WR: Smith, Smith, Tracy
TE: LaPorta
RB: Goodson

Sorry, but less Raigini.

I’m actually excited for the potential wrinkles we could show in our offense with Goodson and Tracy the next few years. You could have both of them in the backfield in a shotgun set. Both guys can run the ball and catch passes.

I know many are down on BF and for the most part I am too, especially in game play calling, but he has shown a little bit of diversity in his formations at the very least.

Okay this will never happen at Iowa but what about a Wildcat look with Tracy and Goodson. That’s very fun.

Our short yardage package should be Wildcat with Tracy under center, Goodson at HB and Epenesa at Fullback. Clemson ran that last year with Dexter a bunch and the dude steamrolled the hell out of people as both a runner and blocker. Most importantly, the kids had fun with it and it seemed to motivate the team.

I think that is the deal: he hasn't had experience as a play caller, and he has not improved in 3 years. I have no doubt he is a smart football mind, and people in-the-know seem to think the overall design of the offense is sound. But you have to lay the putrid results in 3rd and short, in the red-zone, and on 2-point conversions squarely at his feet as a play-caller. And if it has not improved in 3 years, why would it change going forward?

It would be a bold move, but I would be all for switching play-calling duties to KOK immediately.

Fun and fundamental do not have to be mutually exclusive. I wish they would do more stuff like that.

Sorry, but less Raigini.

You must be seeing something I'm not...I think Raigini is going to be good. He had one bad game with some drops, but he is young and I have seen the other players do the same.

What I like about Raigini is he is scrappy. He goes to the ball, secures it, and is immediately trying to gain extra yards. The guy is fearless over the middle...I think the thing that is hurting him sometimes is simply not watching the ball/making the catch first before trying to run. That's an easy fix, this guy reminds me of Edelman with the Patriots. All of our receivers have great potential, but Raigini looks to be maybe not the quickest but I think will be our toughest.
