At 270 lbs. it is impressive what he is doing. Technique, leverage, gap control that is what being a Iowa D-lineman is all about. Aiken did a great job of coaching and the guy whose last name I can't spell has picked up where Aiken left off.

Indeed. What I did like to see was that he only played a quarter in the 3rd. The 1st teamers played the entire 1st half. It means they wanted to get him some reps and see some more of what he can do. He showed. I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting plenty of reps in the regular season.

This actually surprises me. I mean I guess I knew that all of these guys were in the league, but it never really occurred to me that we have 12 defensive linemen in the league. Given our success with the offensive line, I propose "Trench U" as our official nickname

However, we seems to differ in opinion over The Lincoln Lawyer

Reisner also had some big plays in Minny's final drive. One long reception on 4th down and then a reception where he got tackled just before the sideline, which let time run out. Good effort, just came up a little short.

He played quite a bit in the first half as well... He did well on some plays, but he also got owned on some others. Hopefully he'll come along fast enough to get plenty of playing time during the season.

Klug is a typical Hawkeye. He just works harder than those around him and has sound technique. He gives up some lbs but has more heart than most of the big boys blocking him
