Again Iowa is getting great pitching, Mazur has been mowing down Pepperdine in 5 scoreless innings and has only used 55 pitches.

HBP and walk to start the inning, a F9 moved the runner to 3rd, and a base hit brought him home.

Did get a little tense, Pepperdine had beaten #21 UCLA off a 9th inning grand slam on Tuesday. Hawkeyes beat a decent team today.

Iowa plays Wichita State this morning at 11 am and it will be a chilly one. WSU just won their first game yesterday against Pepperdine 5-3 while the Hawks will be looking to bounce back after last nights loss.
