Deanvogs Ferentz has been thanking the fans. I don't think he's going to say thank you fans for pulling my head out of my _ _ _ though. He's turned it around and that's all I need from him.

Bullsh!t. I say all the hardworking posters on HN, and other message boards deserve a big AZZ kissing from Kirk. I mean seriously, the amount of time and energy that some put in on this board, b!tching, moaning, complaining deserves some recognition. I mean it is hard damn work to write things like "that't football" and "snort" in every single post. I want, no, I DESERVE direct recognition from Kirk himself for the part I played in saving this program!!!

False. Bo Schembechler won it six times (1972, 1976, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1989). Kirk Ferentz winning it four times is still very impressive though.

The fans had absolutely nothing to do with it. Hell Kirk doesn't even know the fans were mad because he doesn't know what an internet is. He didn't change because he felt heat from fans, he changed because last year's standard season where we win some close ones and lose some close ones was the last straw. 60 year old coaches go out of their way to reinvent themselves all the time so there's no reason to make up reasons why he did it. He just got a wild hair up his *** is all.

I hope you realize Dean's posts were tongue in cheek. With that said, KF has said he knew fans were disappointed, not because of message boards, but because of ticket sales. Believe me, he knows there was a lot of disappointment within the fan base. Maybe he made some of his changes because last season wasn't up to his standards, or maybe it was because he didn't have to be out raising money and could focus more on football, or maybe fan pressure played a role as well. I would guess it was a combination of all those things and more. Please don't take this as me saying I had a role in the changes because I said fire KF on a message board. I just think that there were lots of factors that caused him to look in the mirror and refocus. It worked, and I'm happy. I openly admit to being wrong when I said fire KF.

I hope you realize as well PC's response was tongue in cheek too.. Although you all 3 spelled out what we all know to be true....

...no hiding from the fact that KF deserves the COY honor and I hope even more so, he brings greater praise upon himself this week!
