Kirk - did you see Dantonio's presser today?

I'm sure he doesn't give a rat's azz about the game or his players. He's been such a terrible person/identity for so long now, that I'm sure he just goes home and dances with emotion in front of his mirror knowing that he's making so much money while his team and its fans suffer. Ya know, cause he's um, he's demonstrated so many serious character flaws before, that I'm positive he's the type that just shows up for the paycheck...and laughs it off later. Losing games and angering fans can't affect him at all...... He chews all that gum for ****s sake! That means he cares so little for his team that he'd rather chew a 1/2lb of spearmint an hour, than dance like an air-guitar playing hillbilly in wicked support for the team.

He makes 4,000,000 dollars too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
^That's the exact amount that makes people suck at coaching and being human........
 


This emotion thing is ridiculous. I think it's much more important for the coach to show that he is poised and not panicked when the pressure comes.
Like at the end of a 2 point game and the other team is about to onside kick after receiving a 5 yd penalty. A poised team would know that the ball is immediately live and................NVM.

There are a lot of legitimate concerns with the program. KF's propensity to exhibit stoic sideline behavior is not one of them.
 


I won't let the guy off the hook completely(not that what I say or think matters to him), but seriously.......there's a lot of things going wrong right now, and yeah it falls largely on the coach as he is the "CEO" as someone already mentioned. I still doubt his salary/perks/air-guitar abilities/game-face can really be used as excuses for why he's not succeeding.

You obviously don't watch Iowa football then. Like another poster said, he was chewing out the ref for some of those calls. He's even cussed more than a few over the course of his career. Getting emotional and acting like a baby doesn't equate to wins anyway. Look at guys Mike Stoops and Mark Mangino. How are they doing now?
