Thanks for sharing. That was a great speech. He is another player that grew up a Hawkeyes fan that we just missed. But I would say that it has been good for both programs, since he has gone on to win many games as a starter, just not against Iowa.

I dont necessarliy think we missed on Cousins. IIRC, it came down to going after him or McNutt and we chose McNutt. Im thrilled with the way it worked out.

Terrific speech. In light of the actions of guys like Pryor and J-Koulianas this was a speech that was needed.

That speech is what is right with college athletics. It won't get front page headlines like a player getting in trouble with drugs etc, but it should. Impressive speech and impressive young man.....he will obviously be successful in whatever endeavor he chooses.

Cousins has been one of my favorite non-Iowa players in the Big Ten. He just shot to the top of the list with that.
