King for Heisman

I would like to see King get a few touches on offense. To me he is Iowas biggest weapon in all 3 phases. I think if KF put him in on offense from time to time especially with Smith hurt--he starts getting Woodson type hype which could only be good for Iowa in any phase of the game.

That could work if Iowa goes 13-0, otherwise King unfortunately will just be an afterthought in the voting.

But I like how you think.

King could certainly be an offensive wespon, hate to wear him out. Maybe sit him on KOR to play O. Would be fun to see

Dude's gotta rest sometime. I'll take a killing for saying this but I'd like to see Parker get some touches. That guy has big play ability. I can forgive him from his mistakes and give him another shot. We need him to be in on more offensive sets than just the reverse though so it's not obvious.

King is our best defender and main return guy, and hasn't spent a single second practicing on offense. To me, its a bad idea.

let's just have him hand out towels and water bottles during timeouts and have him drive the bus from the hotel to the games too.

I actually would be for a few plays for him on offense every now and then, not for anything remotely related to a heisman, but for a number of other reasons. He's got great ball skills. He's one of our better/best athletes. He's shown to have some moves with the ball on punts and kick off returns. Hes an exciting player. Would add another dimension to our offense defenses would have to prepare for. It would be sexy, and we are sexy new. And no... A reason for not dong it is that he would be tired and wore out. He's a 20 year old (or whatever I'm not looking it up) d1 athlete. He can handle three plays on offense every now and then. We're here to win. Lay it all on the line, roll the dice. DO IT. DO IT!
