King's making the right decision. He gradually fell off after the beginning of November, and was awful in the Rose Bowl. He might have been drafted high, but he isn't ready for the NFL. He's got a lot to play for this year. Welcome back.

It's absolutely awesome that he's coming back.

His interceptions went down, cause almost noone threw his way after the first 6-7 games, and we rarely had qb pressure after Ott went out.

The team didn't play well but I thought King was one of the few who played pretty well in the Rose. Again, they rarely threw to his man/side. And he looked like his speed matched Stanfords.

He won the Thorpe(best DB in the country and was a consensus AA), so I'd say there's a few folks who thought he was ready. Damnn glad he's chose to return.

I actually love the idea of 4-6 plays/packages with King in there at WR. Nothing crazy but bringing it in for certain games would be cool.

I suspect a lower and less monied projected draft position helped to cause King's return.

Phil Parker needs to help out his player(s),here. Play some press coverage from time to time. Defend pass receivers instead of turf. Modernize pass coverage from time to time. That'll raise draft status (and bring in better athletes for pass defense).

he's graduating in May, so he'd have that anyway.

What he's getting by coming back is the chance to play in Kinnick stadium 7 more times and all the things that go with being a senior.
