LOL, can you imagine his night?

1:30AM "Sorry to wake you coach, Damon Powell's been arrested"
2:00AM "Sorry to wake you again coach, John Lowdermilk's been arrested"
7:30 AM "Sorry to interrupt your game film, coach, Higdon flipped to Michigan"

KF: "Meh, that's football."

We simply have to accept the fact that (a) KF has given up, (b) the Iowa administration doesn't care, and (c) this team is going to be terrible for the near future.

If you still want to spend money on this, that's on you. I'm more rational than that.

I don't like the direction this program is going in. I hope I'm wrong but I see some dark days ahead.

The program is dead. I am shocked that CJ did not transfer even with given the starting job. I suppose this year is a wash because the OL is going to be very green, and maybe KF and staff are hoping the stars align for 2016 with CJ as a senior, a more experienced OL....and maybe some playmakers emerging at WR.

But honestly, that's a lot to happen for this team. KF caught lightning in a bottle in the early 2000's. His team won despite him in 2009, and from 2010 on, it's been a complete disaster.

I think we'll continue to win our 6-8 games with KF, but that's it. Average.

I know. I really can't comprehend why CJ stayed, or stayed so far. Of course, he still could change his mind.

I'm not going to dwell on this recruiting class when I can get so much enjoyment from the ISU recruiting class.

Rumor has it that Kirk still doesn't know about Higdon. He doesn't have any access to social media so he's just sitting by the fax machine waiting.

They are not in good standing.

All posts very funny, very spot on. I agree that this product is not worth the money and this is coming from a guy who was buying tickets in the late 60's on. But college football has changed and it is now huge entertainment. In the 60s and early 70s the hawks were barely on TV once a year. By the early to mid 80s they were on occasionally. Every friggin game is on now, it is reality TV, it is entertainment and not sport.

You better be able to give a good value for the entertainment dollar.

There was a time when Hawk fans would have been ecstatic with that kind of "average". Of course, you have had to be a Hawk fan and remember coaches like Commings and Lauterbur.

It's a waiting game now. What will come first? Barta is fired. Kirk is "retired" or the program is run so far into the ground it will take 10 years to recover.
