apologist is too weak. Let's call them goose-steppers. They never question the top guy or open their eyes to what's going on in the real world.
 
If any Iowa fans really want this dumpster fire to continue they have to be some sort of crazy masochist. They aren't right in the head and probably spend Saturday nights hiring a fat hooker to dress up in a CY mascot costume while stepping on their junk with high heels and putting cigarettes out on their backs.

There can be no apologist remaining. I was one of them.

I'll always respect KF for what he's done in the past. However, The pro's no longer outweigh the con's.

And based on finally seeing a full comparison between JR and CJ, against the same competition. ...it's inexcusable that CJ didn't get more snaps.

Get a succession plan in place, now.
 
I keep seeing posts that call out the Jake and KF apologists, maybe I'm missing it but I rarely see positive posts for either and frankly what can anybody bring to defend this season.

Welcome. We all saw the full comparison in the Pitt game. Kirk was too busy writing a grocery list to see what happened in that game.
 
Do not worry... Barta says our goal is Bowl Champioships so we have a chance at a Armed Forces bid and victory of LA tech next year.

Cannot wait for those great practices to start!

I was right there with you on this...until the start of this season....I saw it then, and it is glaring...I like what he did and what he used to stand for, but I think his own lack of success these past 4 years, coupled with his standing contract, has changed him for the worse in trying to overcompensate his shortcomings.

Time for a housecleaning, top to bottom.
 
Kurt should have put his wad of gum over that little cut above his right eyebrow. Just to show how much of a doofus he really is.
 
Apologist? Silly... there's nothing to apologize for. Kirk is a big boy and can speak for himself. No need for anyone here to apologize for him.

Am I a fan? Of course. You could do a whole lot worse than send your son to play for Kirk Ferentz for four years.

Am I always happy with the results on the field? Of course not. But a certain mindless drone element on the forum thinks that if you don't melt down emotionally and psychologically whenever Ferentz and the staff do somethong they disagree with then we must be too stupid to know what's up. That, of course, is silly and immature... which seems to be the description for most of the inhabitants of this forum.

So... you guys continue to whine for the next two months. Us "apologists" have real lives and interesting things to do. We feel sad for you that this is all you have... I hope you survive.
