Their was fire with that smoke after all. I'm kinda surprised he wasn't more long in the tooth for the commish job. It seems like the kind of gig you don't just leave from. You either get fired or retire from it.. So he added the Cali schools and got us through Covid. I'm sure how he's critiqued on that will continue through hindsight as time goes on I suppose. But all in all in 5 yrs that's the gist of it.

I think the B1G Commish might become a top 20 Athletics job behind Pro Commish jobs and some Presidents jobs for Pro franchises. You could argue that it's better than SEC Commish job between academic prestige of B1G schools over the SEC schools and the TV rights deals.
