What do you mean? If you're talking about Basabe as the guy we wanted, that's only one of our four open scholarships filled (Tucker, Fuller, Larson, Brust).

I think Coach Fran will fill two scholarships. Hopefully Basabe and a juco combo or straight up pg. He will most likely bank two for next year. It sounded like Panzer was high on Nevada before Coach Fran even entered the picture.

Basabe is the guy that I'm referring to. I don't think that we need to make a last minute blitzkrieg on the available recruits for the '10 season (few available anyway). There are probably one or two players available that want to be at Iowa and fit in to our future plans so let's land them and work on building the team going forward.
