Kentucky ties the game and acts

I think even Calipari feels for the MSU team.... saying that he thinks MSU should be in the tourney during his post game interview.

He didn't have the look on his face like he had just won the conference tourney.

And how did Kentucky tie the game? Miss. St. fouled on purpose with a 3 pt lead, Kentucky makes 1 purposely misses gets the rebound and puts it in.
Interesting.

That should be a lesson for all the people who always rip on coaches who don't foul in that situation.

I will be rooting for KY to lose in the tourney, as always. I think it will happen before the Elite Eight. Too many knuckleheads on that team, and probably three of them will be one and done.

Two things I learned about that game....

A) You still foul in that situation as instead of one thing happening (making the three), you make the team do a bunch of things to suceed, 1) Make the free throw 2) Get the rebound 3)Make a tough shot. I think Stansbury will get criticized for sound strategy. You dont see it play out like that very often but you sure see a lot of game tying threes.

B) If I am drafting #1 in the draft I dont take John Wall. I think Turner is the choice. I am sorry but I think the guy doesnt have "it" like Turner. Turner made big shot after big shot in the BTT, whereas Wall missed a 6 ft jumper and airballed a three pointer in the last 15 seconds of regulation with the game on the line.

Turner or Wall are great picks on a NBA team. When I watch Wall he reminded me of Wade of the Heat. They both will be great NBA players

It's called playing the percentages... and the percentages say to foul.

You're not going to be right 100% of the time no matter whether you choose to foul or not.

Like they won the National Championship..

That was a HUGE play. They're a young team, a program that hasn't won that tourney in several years. I would have expected nothing different. It was a crazy play.

It won't seem so absurd if they're cutting down the nets in another month.

Pretty much this.

I will never hate on someone for being excited when something really, really exciting happens.

I guess if you used your logic it would be more logical in a wrestling match to hang out around the edges and get out of bounds any time you get into trouble. This guy that I've heard of named Dan Gable actually teaches his kids to keep the action in the middle...and when they get into trouble he tells them to work towards the middle and not get out of bounds. He must just be an illogical nutjob.
