UConn, Pitt, Georgetown, Nova, Cincy, Marquette, Cuse...that is some pretty sick BBall schools right there...and in the recent past (10-15 years)...I would say you'd be fooling yourself if you thought the B10 was better.

I think people like Keno because Tom Davis was popular with a familier style of play that is also popular. He took a local small school to the tournament (somewhere they hadn't been in a long time) and finished in the upper half of a conference that is really good with a team that hasn't traditionally been good in a while.

I personally would like to see him, mostly because of a hunch. I think he could bring this team back to the level we were under Tom Davis and the late Steve Alford years.

I think he would bring the fans back and in order to bring the program back that has to be a huge priority.

Look again - the big ten was ranked #1 last year. This is 2009 not 2008 - I said nothing about this year. Why would I - conference play hasn't even started.
If you look at the sum of the previous 4 seasons that the Big East has been 16 teams the Big East's average Sagarin ranking is 4.00, while the Big Ten's is 3.50 - hmmm.
