When is his contract up? (Release mentioned Iowa honoring his contract).
This is the perfect chance to restructure the offensive side of the ball: promote the RB coach to "Run Game Coordinator" and replace O'Keefe with a "Pass Game Coordinator". Gotta be some creative offensive coaches out there who'd be willing to inject some juice into Iowa's pass game for $500,000+/year.

What is left on Okeefe's contract? Any ideas mentioned about his new role?
Coach Okeefe in his first stint at Iowa definitely could get offensive results when he had the players and the pieces to the offense. It seemed reliably you could get a good gauge on the hawk's offense early in the season if they tromped teams 50-10 vs 17-7. There also were some head scratching play calls by Okeefe where you wondered if Kirk in the headsets overruled Ken and they went conservative.

Love Drew Tate but he is nowhere near qualified enough to be a positional coach in P5 football. UNI is the exact kind of place he should be cutting his teeth if he wants to make it to big boy football some day.

Well something was gonna happen and you knew it wasn't going to be Brian to fall on the his sword. Nothing is gonna change. Hopefully a better running/blocking game makes everyone forget about this years offense. Doubt they are even going to have a QB coach, didn't they just make that one up for O'Keefe. Brian will wear that hat too.

None of those guys are experienced enough other than Long, and he’s been out of the hustle for over a decade. Bob Stoops ain’t talking a job as a position assistant.
They’ll get a guy from a G5 school like normal.
