Keith Duncan Iowa's 26th Consensus All-American

Part of being AA is who else is around. I want to say Sanders had the misfortune of playing at the same time as Sean Taylor at Miami. Taylor was probably better than Sanders. I think he got murdered, didn't he?

It's like being a middle LB the same year Ray Lewis was playing or something. You could be one of the best to ever play the game, but you ain't beating out Baltimorenthal.

Ha, ironic isnt that wasnt Ray Lewis involved in or around a murder, iirc. just saying

If he’s that good next year he’s going to the NFL on a rocket sled, .

I dont know of hardly any kickers who were sure things out of college going into the pros. The coaches are so picky about kickers and the kickers can become a head case at any time. Butt Head Butler out of Georgia was said to be a sure thing for the Bears and he was really good for awhile.

Hell the Cowboys and other teams had some great kickers recently then released them after they missed a couple of kicks. Then sometimes the team will find another great kicker or struggle in the kick game.

Are the NFL uprights still more narrow than college?

Uprights are the same width (18 feet 6 inches wide). They look different because the hashes are closer together in NFL than in the NCAA. In the NFL, the hash marks are 18 feet 6 inches apart (just like the uprights). In the NCAA, the hash marks are 40 feet apart.
