KCJJ Interviews Roy Marble.

Thanks for the link....agree great interview. Really nice to hear Roy talk about Clemmons turning some heads next year.

It's too bad Roy has had a few legal bumps in the road over the past few years, as I think he would make a great assistant and would help immensely recruiting kids from MI. Talk about a guy who loves Iowa....wow.

RoMo is an interesting character. My guess the book will be a good read.

You will love it. I downloaded it on my ipad and read a chapter or two a week around some other books I was already reading...takes me back to one of the favorite times of my life

Saying a few legal bumps is an understatement. Roy is well spoken and the interview was very good, but Roy still has quite a few problems to overcome.

How did it ever come out that Iowa put him in alcohol rehab? It is something that has pretty much been general knowledge for over twenty years. I researched the internet & couldn't find anything.

Does anyone remember?

Life is about second chances, maybe third chances for some. I have been neutral on the off the court Marble until this year, but he has been a great ambassador / cheerleader for McCaffrey and the program. We don't have the luxury of having ex NBA guys hanging around CHA like Duke, UNC, Kentucky, etc., so it's nice to have the BTN guys talk about Roy when the camera pans over and reference what a baller he was back in the day. I expect McCaffrey to hit MI pretty hard for recruits in the future and having Marble Sr. and Jr. and Clemmons in / around the program certainly won't hurt.
